Why Parisian hotels are perfect for your wedding celebration
Hosting your wedding reception in one of the Parisian hotels has numerous advantages. First, you will love the splendour of the decor in top Parisian hotels. Their ballrooms are stunning and will become a luxurious back-drop for your wedding celebration. Second, your guests will appreciate the comfort of staying in the same hotel where your party takes place. No painful transfers at the end of the night, no vendor travel fees and more budget-friendly delivery rates.
Looking for a venue for your destination wedding in France? Here is my selection of hotel wedding venues in Paris that I love working with.
Intercontinental Paris Le Grand
Intercontinental is located near Opera Garnier and has a superb ballroom that is spacious enough to welcome weddings with 400 guests or slightly more. The place is splendid and offers a lot of flexibility in terms of vendor choice. You will surely love its newly renovated suites that offer a romantic view of the Opera.
Hotel de Crillon
Hotel de Crillon is a splendid palace overlooking the Concorde square. It has three majestic ballrooms that will be ideal for intimate receptions with 40 to 50 guests. One of the rooms has access to a terrace where you can enjoy champagne and a splendid view. The bemol is that your party shall be over by midnight due to noise restrictions. You also won’t be able to choose your floral designer, as the place works exclusively with Djordje Varda. For your intimate welcome cocktail or next day champagne breakfast, you might want to book their splendid Bernstein suite. It has a panoramic terrace that overlooks all major Parisian monuments.
A pretty 4 star hotel located near Tuileries garden, Westin is famous for its spacious Imperial ballroom that can host weddings with up to 300 guests. There is also a lovely winter garden, that will be perfect for smaller ceremonies and cocktail parties.
A gorgeous palace situated near Trocadero square, within walking distance from the Eiffel Tower. I love Shangri La for its sumptuous reception room with white and gold panels, but also for the possibility to host a dancing party till early in the morning. Indeed, the place has recently been renovated, and one ballroom has been made soundproof to allow dancing parties. The only small negative point is that you will need to change rooms between dinner and a party. Ideal group size for a wedding reception in Shangri La would be around 80-100 people.
This palace also offers amazing rooms and suites with a view of the Eiffel Tower for your guests. All my clients that stay at Shangri La get a special booking code for free breakfast.
Timeless French luxury hotel located at the iconic Place Vendome, Ritz will seduce those couples who appreciate discreet luxury. There are several ballrooms in the Ritz, and they all have a slightly different vibe to it. One of the most popular rooms for summer-time wedding receptions is a Summer salon, that gives access to a terrace and park for your ceremony and an open-air cocktail. Ballroom sizes vary, but an ideal size of the group would be around 50-70 guests.
Le Meurice is a very chic Parisian hotel and is perfect for classy intimate weddings. Its Pompadour reception room is splendid and will suit couples who love candle-lit dinner ambience. Indeed, there are no windows in this room and you feel totally out of time. The dancing party will take place in the adjacent room, which allows easy flow of guests. Ideal group size is around 50 people.
