Planning your wedding in Hotel d’Evreux has numerous advantages. It is located in the heart of Paris, right on the iconic Place Vendome, which means that your guests don’t have to travel to get there. You will find numerous hotels around including the famous Ritz, Le Meurice, Castille and Westin.
Despite its confusing name, hotel d’Evreux is not a hotel, but a private events venue. The word “hotel” is used in French to designate private mansions and townhouses, not only hotels.
The ballrooms of hotel d’Evreux are all lit with natural daylight and have an amazing view on the Place Vendome. There are two balconies that you can use to make killer wedding photos for your album.
Hotel d’Evreux is a historical location that has been constructed for a wealthy French financier at the beginning of the 18th century. It was a private residence before becoming a luxury event venue. Today, Hotel d’Evreux hosts gala dinners, VIP events and catwalks during Paris Fashion Weeks. If you love historical décor with regal flair, you should definitely consider getting married here!
Hotel d’Evreux is perfectly adapted to host a wedding with up to fifty guests. The place is composed of six interconnecting rooms of different sizes, but only Salon Diamant (below) can welcome a seated dinner for the whole group. If you don’t mind separating guests into three different rooms, you can seat up to eighty people or so.
In case if you plan a bigger celebration with 100+ guests, you can also use their Salle de Tirages, a spacious ballroom situated on the ground level. It is less glamorous but has an excellent capacity. And you can always enjoy the cocktail and the ceremony in the rooms above.
Historical locations are often imposing and hotel d’Evreux is not an exception. Its walls covered with gold, its opulent décor, richly decorated chimneys and stunning view on the place Vendome create a sumptuous and almost formal setting. Weddings in hotel d’Evreux require a black-tie dress code and serious planning.
Food and beverage service in the hotel d’Evreux is provided by the luxury catering company Potel and Chabot who has the exclusive right to organise dinner receptions there. Expect a very fine dining experience, where excellent dishes are accompanied by great wines. Potel & Chabot’s cuisine is refined, elegant, creative and healthy and their service is impeccable.
You can have a dancing party in the Hotel d’Evreux, but there are noise restrictions to respect. It is also important to remember, that you will be asked to finish the celebration at 2.00 am at the latest.
The final price will depend on various things like the quantity of champagne and wines or extra hours, but one should budget around 350-400€ per person. It includes standard but elegant furniture and tableware but doesn’t include floral decoration or any extra rentals.
