Rita and Andre, a wonderful, joyful and loving couple from LA choose Paris as the destination for their Armenian wedding.

We welcomed 150 guests over two days to party loudly and wildly at two iconic Parisian spots. The welcome event was organized two days before the wedding day at Corail, a chic restaurant near Seine, with the Eiffel tower view. If you are worried about not having enough energy on the wedding day, I really recommend you to host a welcome event two days ahead. The night before can be dedicated to a family dinner or a smaller event with a bridal party only.

Guests were enjoying the bar, the view, the music and dancing. Because why would you wait for the end of the wedding day to start dancing and having a great time?

After ten years as a wedding planner, I am convinced that making people dance early is a key to a great celebration!

The wedding day has started at Crillon, where the bride and her family and friends were getting ready. The ceremony at the Armenian church in Paris was followed by a wild and stylish reception at one of the most prettiest chateau near the French capital, Chateau de Champlatreux.

It was an unusually hot day for the end of May, the temperatures were over 88°F, and we have decided to use umbrellas that were normally reserved for the cocktail hour only, to protect guests at their tables.

Weather became impossible to predict, so if you want to reduce the uncertainty, I recommend reserving a tent no matter what, and plan your design accordingly. It requires an extra budget, but for events with a lot of guests and complex or particular design, it is highly recommended.

At chateau de champlatreux, the dancing outdoors is only allowed until 11 pm, and we have maximized our dancing time by starting a party early. We have installed a huge dancefloor that was full all the time!

Before moving the party indoors, the bride was surprised by fireworks, a wedding gift that Andre has asked me to plan for Rita secretly.

Armenian weddings in Paris are known for being joyful and exciting family celebrations where everyone feels welcomed, involved, and cared about.

Respect of the traditions, the sense of the transmission from one generation to another, the feeling of togetherness make Armenian weddings stand out to me.
