Things to know about planning your wedding in Chateau de 3 Fontaines

The chateau comes “nu” meaning that you don’t have concierge, f&b or any other service on site.

It is not a problem, as long as your stay has been thought through and all trips, excursions and meals have been organised in advance. We recommend hiring a private chef who will cook an intimate dinner to welcome your family to the chateau, would take care of the breakfast service and lunch on the day of the wedding itself, and who would be able to prepare a brunch for a larger group of guests on the third day of the event.

On the grounds of the chateau you will find a fabulous swimming pool overlooking the chateau, lavender fields (in bloom in June), various green areas, as well as buildings that can be used as a back up plan should it be raining on the day of the wedding. In Provence, rains are rare during summer months, but they can still happen. In the reality, heat is more dangerous than rain in Provence, this is why we recommend privileging period in May and early June and then in September and early October.

If you want to host a wedding in chateau de 3 fontaines, you need to know that fireworks are not allowed on the property. It is a common restriction in the area though.

In theory, you can start the dancing party outdoors, under the skies, but the volume should be “reasonable” and as of 10.00 pm, you would need to move indoors, in one of the side buildings where the party can go on until much later. We can always come up with a creative and festive idea of how to get people from the dinner area (usually near the pool) to the dancing area.
