Organizing A Wedding At Westin Paris

Weddings in Westin Paris

Westin Paris is a wonderful wedding venue if you are looking for a central location, big and sumptuous ballroom, and on-site accommodation. It is a 4-star hotel in central Paris (Marriott group), located near the iconic Tuileries garden and the Louvre, ideal locations for your wedding photoshoot.

There are several function rooms available, but The Imperial room is probably the most beautiful one. It is vast and spacious and can host up to around 200 people with a dancefloor and bar(s).

The ceiling of the Imperial room depicts mythological scenes and reminds the one you can see in the Louvre or another great museum.

The room itself impresses with its volume and monumental columns.

Wedding ceremony in Westin Paris

There are several ballrooms that can host your vows exchange ceremony. These are the Winter garden (my favourite) and Aiglon. Aiglon reminds the Imperial room, but is much smaller, whereas Winter garden is completely different. It benefits from natural daylight and feels less formal, than other function rooms of the hotel.

Usually, you can sit up to 80 people in the Winter garden and Aiglon, and if your group is bigger, you can use Napoleon room, which is as splendid.

How much does it cost to get married in Westin Paris?

The minimum spent on food & beverage to get access to the Imperial room is 20k€, but a detailed offer will be submitted to you once you make your request. Tables and elegant Napoleon 3 chairs are provided by the venue, and you can always rent different furniture you want to create a different ambience.

The advantage of Westin Paris is that it belongs to the Marriott group, which means that you can get bonvoy points, miles or elite night credits for your expenses.

Parties

As many hotels, Westin would require you to stop the music at around 1 am, which is considered rather early in France. I would recommend starting your celebration as early as 4 pm to have enough time to enjoy the dancefloor. It might seem obvious to a reader from the USA or the United Kingdom, but in France, wedding celebrations rarely start before 6 pm and usually last till 4 am.

Wedding dinner

Celebratory menu in Westin is very good and varies to reflect product seasonality. Between October to March, you will be proposed a winter menu, and from April to September, the summer menu will be offered. The per-person price is around 240€ but I would budget more to include an open bar and/or champagne.

You can bring a wedding cake from your external baker if you wish to have one.

Accommodation

Rooms in Westin Paris are modern and comfortable, and you can immediately recognize Marriott’s ambience. Those who love this chain will feel great here, and for more adventurous travellers, I have a list of hotels to recommend.

When organising your wedding in Westin Paris, bride and groom usually get one night in the Junior suite offered to them.

Suites in Westin are pretty, but Presidential suite and Royal suite are simply amazing. Don’t hesitate to get an upgrade to enjoy an amazing view of the Tuileries gardens and even Eiffel tower they offer.
